She has been a member of Government Advisory Board of Lucent Technologies Inc. since November 2005. She serves as a director of the Harvard Overseers and the boards of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, America’s Promise and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, The and the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, as well as other civic organizations.
