Massachusetts Production Coalition

The Massachusetts Production Coalition (MPC) is a 501 (c)(6) non-profit corporation representing the largest and most diverse network of film and media professionals and businesses throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Our members include production and post production companies; educational and professional organizations; talent and craft unions; equipment, facility, and service providers; and creative professionals that are engaged in or related to the production of visual media. MPC was the foremost industry representative to work with the Governor and legislature toward passage of the state’s film tax incentive program, which has vastly improved the economic environment for film, television, and commercial production. This in turn has led to the creation of scores of new businesses and thousands of new jobs in the state. We continue to be the industry advocate to retain the film production incentive program in Massachusetts. Mission MPC is committed to ensuring that the business climate for film, television, and commercial production fosters continued growth that will carry the Massachusetts film and media industry into the future. Our mission is to develop and support economic initiatives that create, attract, and retain creative and technical jobs in the Commonwealth. MPC’s programs provide the industry with outstanding resources, professional development opportunities, and cultural perspective. .
