Resiliency Learning from Copenhagen, Amsterdam & Rotterdam

WED, NOV 16, 2016 (1:12:47)

In June 2016, two separate delegations of public- and private-sector leaders from Boston’s planning, policy, design and development community visited these Scandinavian cities to meet with architects, planners, and city officials and view first hand projects for climate adaptation, carbon neutrality, renewable energy, green building, bicycle infrastructure, and community development. Panelists will share key case studies and lessons learned, as they dive into a discussion about how Boston approaches climate adaptation and mitigation. What can the Danes and the Dutch teach us about empowering local residents, scaling up resiliency efforts from the city to the region, and the finance and governance of implementation?
