Sports figures around the globe are increasingly breaking down the stigma of mental illness. + BIO: Joeseph Patrick Kennedy III

Joseph Patrick Kennedy III, is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, his congressional district extends from the western suburbs of Boston to the state’s South Coast.

+ BIO: Trenni Kusnierek

Trenni Kusnierek is a graduate of Muskego High School and Marquette University. She has previously worked at WDJT-TV (2001-2002), FSN Pittsburgh (2003-2007), ABC Sports (2005), and FSN Wisconsin (2008), and as a reporter and former studio host for the MLB Network as well as some work for the Big Ten Network and the NFL Network. From 2011 to 2013, she worked for WTMJ (AM) & ESPN 540 in Milwaukee as a sports reporter & talk show host. Kusnierek was hired by NBC Sports to work as a curling reporter during the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, and also covered tennis for NBC Sports at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Bradley Stevens is an American professional basketball coach and former collegiate player. He is the head coach of the Boston Celtics. Born and raised in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens starred on the Zionsville Community High School basketball team, setting four school records.

Troy Fitzgerald Brown is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the eighth round of the 1993 NFL Draft. He played college football at Marshall. On May 11, 2010, Brown was elected into the College Football Hall of Fame.

+ BIO: Chamique Holdsclaw

Chamique Shaunta Holdsclaw is a former professional basketball player in the Women’s National Basketball Association most recently under a contract with the San Antonio Silver Stars.

+ BIO: Artie Stevens

Kevin “Artie” Stevens is an American retired ice hockey player and former NHL scout for the Pittsburgh Penguins. In 2017, Kevin Stevens was named Special Assignment Scout with the Penguins hockey organization.
