Gary Pomerantz has served the past three years as a visiting lecturer in the department of communication at Stanford University. From 1999-2001, as distinguished visiting professor of journalism at Emory University in Atlanta, he taught courses on the history and future of the American press and on news reporting and writing. A number of his former students work today for media outlets across the nation.
