Whales: Candles, Cheeses, and Pigs in Disguise?

Heather Koopman proposes that whales may not process all of the fats they ingest, because whale feces tends to float at the surface, and fat floats in water. Koopman observed this and hypothesized that whales may not be using all of the fats they consume.
