Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir and Pakistan Muslim League's information secretary Ahsan Iqbal identify visible gaps in US-Pakistan foreign policy and present a framework for future cooperation. In light of the war on terror, the recent military operation by Pakistan against Taliban in Swat, the drone attacks, the Kerry-Lugar bill, and the situation in Afghanistan, the panelists try to discern the way forward for relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of understanding Pakistan's internal dynamics such as civil society and media.
