Poet Iyeoka Ivie Okoawo host a spoken word showcase, in which beautiful, powerful language is transformed into music to convey deep emotions and provocative ideas. Young Bostonians perform original works as well as those of well-known published poets. These young, dynamic poet/performers are excited to participate in the long tradition of accomplished poetic expression in Massachusetts.
