Carl Honore is a journalist who's best-selling book In Praise of Slowness: How A Worldwide Movement Is Challenging the Cult of Speed, praises the "Slow Movement", sub-cultural movement in support of simple living. a In 2008, Honore published a second book Under Pressure: Rescuing Our Children from the Culture of Hyper-Parenting, where Honore writes in support of a more relaxed, hands-off approach to parenting.
