Midway Atoll and the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument
October 23, 2008
Wayne Sentman biologist, field naturalist, Oceanic Society
Wayne Sentman talks about Midway Atoll, which offers one of the most incredible wildlife spectacles in the world.
Midway is the only accessible wildlife refuge within the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument. Similar to the Galapagos, much of the wildlife of Midway has remarkably little fear of humans; few places on earth allow visitors such close contact with seabirds.
