MacArthur Award-winning structural engineer John Ochsendorf talks about how his interests in environmental science, history, archeology, and engineering led him to his work with historic structures, and then to his work redesigning communities to make them carbon neutral.

This lecture is part of the 2009 Cambridge Science Festival.

John Ochsendorf is a structural engineer and an historian at MIT, whose work won him a 2008 MacArthur "Genius" Award.
