National Public Radio President Kevin Klose speaks to a group of supporters at Public Broadcasting Atlanta studios. He talks about NPR's achievements and goals, and also describes some of its challenges, like harnessing new technology in broadcasting, podcasting, and the Web. He also discusses the state of the media today and NPR's commitment to serious, fact-based journalism.
Kevin Klose is a former editor, and national and foreign correspondent with The Washington Post. He also served as director of US international broadcasting, overseeing the United States' global radio and television news services from 1997-98.
