America's ongoing battle with heart disease is the focus of a screening and panel discussion sponsored by WGBH and the Dorchester and Roxbury YMCAs. The event features a screening of excerpts from the new PBS documentary The Hidden Epidemic: Heart Disease in America followed by a panel discussion on heart disease prevention, public health policy and the making of the documentary.

Moderated by Basic Black host and Bay State Banner editor Howard Manly, the panel features Laurie Donnelly, executive producer of The Hidden Epidemic; Paula Johnson, director of the Connors Center for Women's Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital; a cardiac disease survivor; and representatives from the American Heart Association and the Mass.
