WGBH Boston's Greater Boston profiles Susumu Ito, a retired 88 year old Harvard Medical School professor who served in WWII as part of the US Army's 442nd Regimental Combat Team, an all Japanese American fighting unit. The combat team had a well earned reputation for toughness and received more military decorations than any unit of its size in the history of the US Armed Services.
