Carola and Marcelo Suarez-Orozco describe and discuss determinants of success of among children in their longitudinal study of immigrant youth in this nation's educational system. This lecture is based on the work reported in their book, Children of Immigration.

Carola and Marcelo Suarez-Orozco have conducted some of the most interesting and important research on immigration and the educational experiences of immigrant children through their long-term endeavor, the Harvard Immigration Project. The work presented is the focus of a recently-completed volume to be published in 2007.
