As a part of simultaneous, international celebrations of James Joyce's Ulysses, a panel of experts discusses how the Irish and the Jews of Boston impacted the evolution of the city and each other.

Bloomsday is celebrated in 200 cities around the world including New York, Dublin, Tokyo, Toronto, and Santa Maria, to honor one of the most famous books in literature, Ulysses by James Joyce. Taking place over a 24-hour period in the Dublin of 1904, the 1,000+ page novel follows a Jew, Leopold Bloom, as he wanders through the city on a voyage of personal discovery.
